Pipe Stress Analyst
Own the stress calculations that keep piping systems safe - from thermal expansion checks to full dynamic analysis - on live oil & gas, power and process projects across the USA, UK and UAE.
What you'll do
- Build and run CAESAR II models for static, thermal, seismic and dynamic load cases per ASME B31.1 / B31.3.
- Design and optimize pipe supports, spring hangers and expansion loops with the layout team.
- Prepare IFC stress reports, calculation packages and marked-up isometrics clients can act on.
- Review vendor nozzle loads, flange leakage checks and equipment connections.
- Join client calls to defend your analysis and close review comments.
What we need
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2+ years of hands-on pipe stress analysis with CAESAR II.
- Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 / B31.3 and support standards (MSS-SP-58).
- Ability to read piping isometrics, P&IDs and GA drawings fluently.
- Clear written English for reports and client communication.
Bonus points for
- AutoPIPE, CAEPIPE or PASS/START-PROF exposure.
- Experience with buried pipeline or FRP/GRP stress analysis.
- Surge or time-history analysis background.
