Piping Engineer
Turn process requirements into buildable piping layouts - 3D models, isometrics and MTOs for terminals, refineries and industrial plants that actually get constructed.
What you'll do
- Develop piping layouts, equipment arrangements and support locations in Plant 3D / PDMS.
- Produce fabrication-ready isometrics, GA drawings and material take-offs.
- Run clash detection and resolve routing conflicts with structural and MEP models.
- Coordinate with the stress team so layouts pass analysis the first time.
- Check vendor drawings and as-builts against project specifications.
What we need
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3+ years in piping design for oil & gas, petrochemical or industrial plants.
- Strong Plant 3D, PDMS or E3D modeling skills.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3, piping specs and material classes.
- Comfortable working directly with international clients.
Bonus points for
- Navisworks clash-review workflow experience.
- Terminal / storage depot project background.
- Basic pipe stress awareness (CAESAR II literacy).
