Wind Power Station (FSM): S-Curve Progress Monitoring

Pakistan

Case Summary

Primavera P6 and Excel S-curve progress monitoring for a wind turbine generator project. At the April 2024 data date the project tracked 37.40% actual against 36.06% planned, ahead of baseline in every sub-category.

Wind Power Station (FSM): S-Curve Progress Monitoring

Fluxiss produced the S-curve progress monitoring report for the FSM Wind Power Station, a wind turbine generator (WTG) project spanning nacelle, blades, hub, service elevator, and tower bolts procurement alongside civil works and balance-of-plant installation. Built in Primavera P6 with Excel-based planned-versus-actual S-curves, the report gave the project owner a monthly, quantified answer to the only question that matters: are we on plan?

April 2024 Data Date: Ahead of Plan Across the Board

  • Overall: 36.06% planned versus 37.40% actual, ahead of baseline
  • Site studies: 100% planned, 100% actual, complete
  • Design: 88.30% planned versus 90.20% actual, roughly 2% ahead
  • Procurement: 29.80% planned versus 31.20% actual, 1.4% ahead
  • Construction: 21.70% planned versus 21.90% actual, on track

Scope Under Monitoring

  • WTG supply: nacelle, blades, hub, service elevator, and tower bolts, tracked from 23 January to 11 September 2024
  • Site access, geo-technical and topography reporting (January to February 2024)
  • Transportation study (February to March 2024)
  • Microgrid EBOP testing and commissioning, followed by WTG testing and commissioning (November to December 2024)
  • Monthly S-curves tracked January through November 2024 with cumulative planned versus actual units

S-curve monitoring like this turns project status from opinion into data. Every sub-category has a planned line, an actual line, and a variance the whole team can see, which is exactly what keeps a multi-front WTG program honest.
