We recently completed a problematic piping job where we completed CAD work and detailed piping design along with support modeling. CAD Engineering and Pipe Layouts

Our engineers initiated the project working together with the team of the client studying the readily available layout of the plant. We designed the pipe works in AutoCAD Plant 3D and ensured that perfect line works and support were put in place and that everything could fit in the space. This was meant to prevent conflict and unexpected difficulties during construction.

Piping Support Modelling and Export to Revit

Building intricate models and drawings of piping supports was one of the most important elements of this job. This was done through proper isometric design of piping with consideration to the point of stress, load states. After developing the 3D model, we had the files converted into Revit files, and as a result, the BIM team of the client could freely merge the piping model with their current buildings. This saved them much time at coordination of the final design.
